The items are generally accompanied by monthly payment plans. MBI creates and markets more than 500 new products each year under its Danbury Mint, The Easton Press, and PCS Stamps & Coins divisions. It is one of the leading magazine advertisers in the US and has a mailing list of more than 10 million names. MBI was founded in 1969 by chairman Ted Stanley.
