Integrated health system New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) serves the Wilmington and Cape Fear area of North Carolina through its flagship 855-bed New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the 130-bed Cape Fear Hospital, and the 85-bed Pender Memorial Hospital. NHRMC also operates a rehabilitation center, a behavioral health facility, and a women’s and children’s hospital, as well as home health, hospice, EMS transport, physician practice, and outpatient care clinic locations. The not-for-profit health network is affiliated with the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
