The largest managed care organization in the Land of Enchantment, Presbyterian Health Plan provides health coverage to nearly 420,000 members throughout New Mexico. It offers commercial health plans to employers but sells to individuals as well. The organization also offers private Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans, and it operates a Medicaid HMO. Presbyterian Health Plan is part of integrated health care provider Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a not-for-profit organization that  also runs about 40 New Mexico hospitals and clinics, and a medical group consisting of about 400 doctors.
