Jackson Memorial Hospital is the flagship facility of the Jackson Health System (JHS). It has roughly 2,450 beds and offers a wide variety of services, including burn treatment, trauma, pediatrics, rehabilitation, obstetrics, and transplants. It is also a teaching facility for the University of Miami School of Medicine. JHS also operates Holtz Children’s Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, a mental health hospital, primary and specialty care centers, two long-term care nursing facilities, six corrections health clinics, and two community hospitals. Jackson Memorial Hospital and JHS are overseen by The Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County.
