Tanger Properties Limited Partnership is an owner and operator of outlet centers in the United States and Canada. The Company is a fully-integrated, self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), which focuses on developing, acquiring, owning, operating and managing outlet shopping centers. As of December 31, 2014, the Company’s portfolio consisted of 36 outlet centers, with a total gross leasable area of approximately 11.3 million square feet located in 23 states. The Company owns interests in nine other outlet centers totaling approximately 2.6 million square feet through unconsolidated joint ventures, including four outlet centers in Canada. The Company’s consolidated outlet centers range in size from 24,619 to 749,074 square feet.
