Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State (CP of NYS) provides health care services for people suffering with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. The organization includes 24 associations that provide day treatment programs, community dwelling access, and at-home residential support, as well as early childhood, mental health, and transportation services. Serving more than 100,000 patients throughout the state, it also acts as an advocate for its patients through legislative involvement. CP of NYS was founded in 1946 by parents seeking health and advocacy services for their children. The organization provides services directly to patients.
